What are the Akashic records, how do you use them, and are they dangerous?!?

There is never a coincidence when you stumble across the Akashic Records, they have a way of showing up in your life when you need it most- just like Reiki did for me as well.

I’d been on my healing and spiritual journey for a little while when I stumbled across the records, not long after discovering I am in fact a starseed.

They drew me in, I wanted to learn everything-there was so much mystery and intrigue there for me. As it always happens, I was guided. To Rebecca Campbell’s work and could not get enough of her Letters To A Starseed book and shortly after did her soul blueprint course.

I was fascinated with what I thought was the Akashic Record Library-oh yes, I wasn’t in fact in the real Akashic Records. I’d learnt to travel into a library through meditation. Meeting my guide that took me to my soul book and delivered information about me (one of the versions existing in the astral realm)

Sure, I got bits, some made me cry tears of joy like a piece coming home, but it also felt a bit vague and like something was missing. That’s often the case with the fake versions, they’ll give you some information but it’s quite vague, you know like you’ve had a mediocre psychic reading and it’s left you a little up in the air with the accuracy- no hate on psychic readings but you know what I mean!!

I didn’t pursue it much after that, and put it on the back burner-hey I was in my spiritual sponge stage and was into learning and leaning into so many things all at once.

But I was guided next to Western Shamanic training, and through the training we learnt how to access Upper world-the land of the stars, the sky, and cosmos and that again bought tears to my eyes. I felt free, flying through the sky, connected to the stars, a memory like I’d done it before.

While up there I had a lovely encounter with who I believed at the time to be Jesus on a couch while floating on a pink cloud-ha-ha. Yes, this wasn’t the real Jesus as I later found out. Fake guides and fake light within the astral realm might be a story for another day!

Again, there was something there, it was much easier for me to go up then down into lower world. The connection so much stronger with the sky, the moon, and the stars. But it still fell short, something was still missing for me. It felt like a puzzle piece was missing.

Then I discovered Suzie from Akashic Readings and Healings on Instagram and followed her like a hawk! Everything she shared, I was quick to absorb and finally after a few months booked in for an Akashic Record clearing with her.

I had no idea what to expect, but I was excited. The experience was like nothing I had ever felt before, and I’ve had plenty of healing sessions and taken many clients through unique experiences, but this was so different.

I remember this huge tree in front of me, changing colours, vibrating, connecting to me. Think of the tree of life in the Avatar movie. It was mesmerising, breath taking, and magical. I wept tears of total appreciation, connection and safety in those moments.

So many other moments happened in that session, that I was hooked and knew I wanted to study the records with Suzie.

I like so many assumed those previous places I’d visited where the Akashic Records. That the records were a library about our past lives.

But they are so much more!

I’ve never seen the true records as a library……It’s a multidimensional consciousness. Full of light, frequency, images, feelings, messages, unconditional love and so vast you’d be there for eons exploring it all.

Think of the Akashic Records as an energetic memory of the soul since it left Source. Everything that has consciousness has an Akashic Record-that includes pets, your business and even places!

I like to describe the records like a google search for the soul. Every thought, feeling, experience, you have ever had of past, present, and future across all timelines and galaxies is stored here. The notion that a library is big enough to house all this information, limits the endless information and frequencies available to us. Think of it like an endless storage facility like iCloud.

There are many fake versions of the records within the astral realm as I’ve started to reference here, and where people can have bad experiences within the records or with guides. It’s like a mirror version of the true records and some information will come through as true. The astral realm has both good and bad within it, and that goes for guides as well.

Many people believe the records have been tampered with over time, but again this is the fake versions that have been accessed or tried to be replicated over time, and the wrong information given.

The true akashic records exist beyond the 5th dimension, where there is no duality or lower frequencies, entities, or trickster energies. But a safe place to travel into many areas of higher consciousness and dimensions within the records, depending on the information you are ready to receive.

The true records are protected by the Lords of the records, whose job it is to protect the information and whom is accessing it. It’s not ok to read other people’s records without their consent and snoop around. It’s also not ok to do readings for anyone under 18 years of age. The Lords also protect from darker forces having access to our sensitive soul information.

Rules and procedures were put in place to always safe guard the information and for it not to be tampered with, like what most of our history today has been changed or things taken out.

Everyone has the right and capability of accessing their own records. It takes time to develop like any else, and time required to hold the frequencies.

The more you develop yourself, the deeper the answers become, there’s never a dull moment within the Akashic Records. Sometimes I just go up to bask in the frequency and be held in unconditional love with my guides.

Other days I’m in there asking about my business, or what would support me today. Or asking the big questions like how was the universe created! The more time you spend in the records the more you connect to your higher self-who’s guiding you, with the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones who all want to help you to come into alignment and work through your life lessons-the soul only craves expansion and growth.

The records can be accessed by meditation, and what people may have experienced before. Again, this method isn’t fail proof and how most end up in the other versions out there.

The other way is through a prayer that is handed down from teacher to student and the prayer is the full proof way of accessing the records while being protected and allowing the shift in consciousness to reach the higher levels of consciousness and information.

Akasha (Sanskrit meaning space, sky, ether) is the first element of creation. It is the simplest quality of the universe and is therefore the element that is most identified with consciousness itself.

Akashic Record was a term first introduced by the Theosophists (in Sinnett's book Esoteric Buddhism) and was popularised by the work of Edgar Cayce who was also known as the Sleeping Prophet. Cayce was a devout Christian who was able to access the 'Book of Life' of others to assist them in medical matters and 'life readings' which often covered past lives.

The Akashic Records are an invaluable tool if you are on your healing or spiritual journey. Being able to obtain guidance from your Akashic Guides is a beautiful experience and helps you to feel more connected to your whole self, helps you get into alignment, and can help identify where there are blocks and the healing that needs to take place.

The guides love to wrap you up in a warm hug, are never upset or mad at you, and will never punish you, no matter how many times you want to go around in loops experiencing the same situation over and over until you get the lesson.

They’ll never interfere with your free will, or tell you directly what to do. They are like the most loving cheer squad who will keep you in the lines of your path, or help you veer back on when you’ve lost your way.

Many of my clients have experienced the most amazing moments within the records during a reading, left with so much clarity, and felt so much lighter and whole after connecting to their guides.
